Agreement to these terms

By opening this website or using the editor, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service. If you are using Ezy PDF Editor on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these terms for it.

What this service is

Ezy PDF Editor is a browser-based PDF editor. Document processing, from opening and editing to exporting your document, runs locally in your browser, and the site is offered without any guarantee of availability or uptime.

Your documents are your responsibility

Your files are processed on your own device and are never uploaded to us. That is the core of how the service works, and it has a consequence worth stating plainly: we hold no copy of your document, sowe cannot recover, restore, or return itfor you under any circumstances.

You are responsible for keeping your own backups of any file you care about, and for checking an exported document before relying on it. Editing software can produce results other than what you intended, so always review the finished PDF before you send, sign, file, or submit it.

Acceptable use

You agree to use Ezy PDF Editor only for lawful purposes and only on documents you have the right to modify. In particular, you must not use it to alter a document you are not authorised to change, to forge a signature or a record, to misrepresent a document's contents to someone who relies on them, or to infringe anyone's intellectual property.

You are solely responsible for what you create with the editor and for how you use the result.

Your content, and ours

Your documents remain entirely yours. Because they never reach us, we claim no licence over them and we have no ability to use them for anything at all.

The website itself, meaning its design, text, and code, belongs to us and is protected by copyright. These terms give you permission to use the service, not to copy, resell, or republish the site or the software behind it.

Third-party services

Two optional features rely on an outside service: the language selector, which is powered by Google Website Translate, and the font picker, which downloads a chosen font from a content-delivery network. Those providers receive standard request information, such as your IP address, when the feature is used. Your PDF content is never part of that. ThePrivacy Policydescribes both in detail.

No warranty

Ezy PDF Editor is provided "as is"and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including without limitation any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, operate without errors, or that any edit or export will produce a particular result.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, nor for any loss of data, documents, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of Ezy PDF Editor, or your inability to use it. This applies even if we have been advised that such damage is possible.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you have paid us for it. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Changes to the service and to these terms

We may add, change, or remove features at any time, and we may update these terms, for example if a new feature changes how the service works. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" shown at the top of this page. Continued use of the editor after an update means you accept the revised terms.
