Do my files get uploaded to a server?

No. You can open a PDF of any size, from a one page form to a large scanned document with hundreds of pages, and every editing tool works the same way. There is no upload, no sign in, and no file size or page count cap on any device, whether Android, iOS, iPad, Windows, Mac, or Linux. Everything happens in your browser, so your files never leave your device.
What kinds of PDF can I open?
Any of them. Scanned or image only PDFs, fillable forms, contracts, multipage reports, and PDFs exported from any app all open the same way. Just choose the file or drag it in. There's nothing to convert first and no format restrictions.
Can I edit existing text in a PDF?
Yes. The quickest way is to click the text on a desktop, or touch and hold it on a phone or tablet: the PDF's own text becomes an editable box in the exact same font, size, and color, so you can backspace and retype it in place. This works on all devices. You can also add new text anywhere on the page, or cover existing text with the white out or erase tool, which blends into the page background, and type the replacement on top. The match font tool copies the exact font, size, and color from the PDF so any new text looks native.
How do I find and replace text in a PDF?
Press Ctrl+F (or Cmd+F on a Mac), or tap the search button in the toolbar, to open Find and replace. Type the word to find and it highlights every match across all pages with a running count, and the Next and Previous arrows jump between them. Enter the replacement, then choose Replace for the current match or Replace all for every occurrence at once. It searches both the PDF's own text and any text you've added, with optional Match case and Whole word. Replaced PDF text is covered and retyped in the closest matching font, and it all happens in your browser so nothing is uploaded. A single undo reverts a whole Replace all.
How do I line things up neatly in a PDF?
Select anything you've placed, like a text box, image, signature, shape, line, or drawing, and an Align to page bar appears over the document. Its buttons snap the item to the page's left edge, horizontal center, or right edge, and to the top, middle, or bottom, so you can position it perfectly without nudging it by hand. Move something by hand and the bar comes right up for it, so you can nudge it roughly and then line it up exactly. It measures the item exactly, so text, rotated objects, and freehand strokes all land where you expect. Each click is a single step you can undo.
How do I sign a PDF?
Choose the Signature tool, draw your signature in the pad, and place it anywhere on the page. You can resize and reposition it, then download the signed PDF. If the PDF has fillable fields, the Fill form tool lets you type, tick boxes, and pick options right in them; you can also add text anywhere on the page.
How do I fill out a PDF form?
If the PDF already has interactive form fields, a banner points you to the Fill form tool. Turn it on and the form's own fields light up: tap a text field to type with your device's keyboard, tick checkboxes, choose radio options, and pick from dropdowns, all on phone, tablet, and desktop. When you download, your answers are burned permanently into the page, so the saved PDF looks identical in every viewer, in print, and by email. If a document has no built in fields, use the Text and Signature tools to write and sign anywhere on the page instead.
Can I add or edit links in a PDF?
Yes. Pick the Link tool, drag a box over any text, image, or blank area, and type or paste a web or email address; that region becomes clickable in the saved PDF. Existing hyperlinks in the file show up as boxes you can work with too: click on a desktop, or touch and hold on a phone or tablet, to change where a link points or remove it, and drag or resize it like anything else. When you download, the links are written as real PDF hyperlinks that work in any viewer, and, like everything else, it all happens inside your browser so the file never leaves your device.
Can I reorder, rotate, or delete pages?
Yes. The page sidebar lets you rotate, duplicate, delete, and drag pages into a new order, and you can insert a blank page anywhere. Your text and drawings stay attached to their page as you rearrange the document.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Because all editing happens in your browser, once the page has loaded you can edit and export PDFs without an internet connection.
